The Museum of the White Mountains, The Center for Women and Enterprise, and Grafton Regional Development Corporation have teamed together to present a business preparatory course geared for Artist Entrepreneurs ready to take their craft to the next level.

With our instructor, Rita Toth, and NH Small Business Development Center Business Advisor guiding the way, attendees will have the opportunity to explore."

The six-week course culminiates with a presentation to industry professionals, lending experts, and regional leaders.

Each participant will also meet one-on-one with the instructor to fine-tune their business plan, presentation and discuss the next steps for your business.

This course is held weekly, on Thursdays, at 5pm starting January 13 through February 17.

This course is offered at no-cost thanks in part by a grant from the New Hampshire State Council of the Arts and the National Endowment for the Arts.

Rita Toth

Rita Toth is a business advisor with NH SBDC, assisting clients in the Belknap and Grafton Counties. She enjoys working with SBDC clients, helping them to identify new approaches to business plans, manufacturing, funding sources, management practices, tailored communication plans, and sales strategies.

An entrepreneur, international marketing expert and product specialist, Rita has over 13 years of experience developing award-winning initiatives with local & Fortune 500 companies and startups in Europe and the United States. Her background in business management and marketing communication helped her efforts with companies like Procter & Gamble and Publicis Group gain national attention and success. She has worked with brands such as L’Oreal, HP, Lego, TEVA, Pampers, Tampax, as well as her own startups, 7Field Ad Agency and SkinGreat, LLC.

Rita is a strong proponent of building relevant industry relationships and enjoys helping others connect. An experienced public speaker, she has a passion for women-led and owned businesses.

She graduated from Harvard University Extension School with a Master’s in Management, holds a BA in Marketing from Oxford Brookes University and a BA in Business from the International Business School of Budapest. Rita lives in Laconia with her family and enjoys all of the outdoor activities that the area has to offer.
